The existence of the Women's Ministry dates back to the solid initiative and efforts of Madam Gladys Otchere and Mrs. Margaret Ohemeng, both of blessed memory. They strongly believed that bringing the women together will contribute immensely to the growth of the church. This desire and firm belief precipitated the first meeting which was held at the house of Mrs. Ohemeng in the summer of 1986. Through the grace of God, this first meeting was overwhelming patronized with a record attendance of 15 members.

The women were held together by the tireless efforts and diligent work executed by the interim executives of whose membership were;
On the 25th of April 1993, the women’s fellowship was formally inaugurated by Mrs. Mary Opoku Agyemang (Women’s Central Committee in Ghana) with 33 members. By the Grace of God, the women’s fellowship has increased in number with the current membership standing at 50 with 30 active members.

Our meeting days are scheduled for the first and second Saturdays of every month.
Our activities include;
The women’s fellowship is an integral part of the Overseas Mission Field of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (OMF) and as such attends and hosts yearly conferences.
